How to Heal

Here is a recording of the video from this past Friday morning ACIM Group.

Lisa Natoli gave a teaching on “How to Heal” with an illustration to show the simplicity and immediacy of healing.

Healing is nothing more than “a decision” to stop the endless vicious cycle of looking for a solution in external places. In sickness and in pain, all you do is go around and around in a circle of confusion, going nowhere.

Now, you can “make a decision” to be the light that you are.

You can see with vision what you have been doing all these years, looking for a cure, looking for a solution, looking for love (in all the wrong places).

Now, you can “make a decision” to stop doing what you have been doing (which, if you are still in pain and suffering, you have to admit has not been working for you) and change directions and go within. Find your center. Get connected. Come back into balance. Find the peace and light within you by abiding in the stillness and quiet within, which dissolves all pain, difficulties and suffering.

It’s a long video – one hour and 23 minutes – but if you have been praying for a way out of darkness, have a look.

When you get connected with the light you are, and you are BEING IT, everything else that is not the light just floats away. Darkness cannot remain in light.

Only when you resist does pain and sickness continue to stick around, and can seem very real.

At the very end of this video, Lisa offers a creativity exercise to help you find your purpose. You’ll need a piece of paper and a pen for that. That’s at the 56 minute mark.

We encourage you to make the time (make a decision!) to watch the entire video. We are receiving letters from around the world, people saying this video is the answer they have been looking for.

Also in this video, Lisa tells the story about her husband Bill Free and his great response to having his camera, computer and bag stolen, which we hope inspires you TO KNOW that you are always in control of your thoughts and feelings.

Lisa says:

“Do not give your thoughts and emotions they keys to the car. Do not let them drive the bus. You stay in control of your thoughts. You choose the feelings you want to experience.”

You can choose joy, peace and love, in every situation.

Enjoy the video.

We would love to hear from you…

  1. Awesome–thank you, Lisa and Team! The diagram of the journey, instantaneously, back home to The Light, is terrific. The Prodigal Son story is a great reminder! Hugs!!

  2. Worth While

It is easy enough to be pleasant
When life flows by like a song,
But the man worth while is the one who will smile
    When everything goes dead wrong.
For the test of the heart is trouble,
And it always comes with the years,
And the smile that is worth the praises of earth
Is the smile that shines through tears.

It is easy enough to be prudent
When nothing tempts you to stray,
When without or within no voice of sin
    Is luring your soul away;
But it’s only a negative virtue
Until it is tried by fire,
And the life that is worth the honour on earth
Is the one that resists desire.

By the cynic, the sad, the fallen,
Who had no strength for the strife,
The world’s highway is cumbered to-day—
    They make up the sum of life;
But the virtue that conquers passion,
And the sorrow that hides in a smile—
It is these that are worth the homage on earth,
For we find them but once in a while.

  3. Lisa,
What a beautiful and needed message! My list of the Things that Bring Me Joy were the actions of Gratitude, Peace and Love that I feel all around me. The Things I love to do were my doing/my actions…but the Things that Bring Me Joy brought the feelings of joy to me. I didn’t have anything with the doing.
As you spoke about the course that is being ‘birthed in you’, I thought… Have TRUST that the financial support will come. What if you offered the course and just asked for donations with the suggested donation of $297.00? That way everyone can give what their heart feels as giving.
God Bless you and the Teachers of God <3
